Last Devotion on Marriage

Preview  Reminds me of an artesian spring.  A place where water just bubbles up to the surface of it's own accord.  May not be as grand and fancy as a tropical waterfall, but still a constant, reliable source of cool refreshment.

Don't be easily fooled by appearances.  A simple baby, raised by a carpenter turned out to be the Savior of the world.  Mama and Daddy used to say, "Still waters run deep."  Not a lot of splash and noise, but plenty of it.  Often with an undercurrent so strong.

Suppose I'm ramblin'.  But as we look at the Final Devotion on Marriage, I just want to urge everyone to look into your own marriage.  Don't get distracted in comparing yours to another.  Draw the plan in your mind in pencil, so you can easily make adjustments.  Build with  your heart and with an eye towards God's will.

  6. I can certainly see why you like this particular graphic from D's Designs.  Everything is in place here on our wonderful planet to spark something in us, a phrase mama and daddy used to say, and old classmate or old friend we haven't spoken to in a long while and I believe it's on purpose, our purpose, God's purpose it just all divinely set up for each and everyone one of us and it comes as it come to enlighten us and let us know there is a higher power and I love that about life, don't you?  Like for instance that fact that you were lead to do these Devotions on Marriage.  We are all really ministers when we follow our hearts.  Thank you for following your heart.

  8. I thought your words on art in my journal comments were truly inspirational!  For the Apostle Paul to have been so completely given to his belief in Christ, he began the Church which spread across the world.    In spite of every adversity he never lost faith in God.    Though I am not married I can see the logic and wisdom of your advise.    mark
