In honor of Easter, a special Tender Years post featuring some Easter memories through photos.
Toddler me. What was that face about?!?! |
About a 4 yr old Barbie (me) with baby Kelly, my niece. |
About a 3rd grade me, with Mama, Kelly and Paige (both nieces), |
Mama and me, when I was in high school. |
You were a cute little girl, bet you still are.
ReplyDeleteI still feel like a cute little girl inside, Paula, but on the outside, when I look in the mirror all I see is an ugly old woman!
DeleteThanks for visiting Buttercupland. Love seeing pictures of time gone by and especially liked your high school picture. What a sweet picture!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carol! All there was then, was me and mama. The photo was taken outside my sister Edna's house.
DeleteGreat pictures of Easter through the years!

Thanks! Just getting in the mood for #TenderYears.
DeleteNeat Easter pictures!
ReplyDeleteNot very creative, but very nostalgic.
DeleteThat is quite a face in that first shot!
ReplyDeleteI showed my sister, Edna, that shot yesterday. She didn't know why I was making that face. My best guess is that maybe my sister, Sarah took the picture. She may of teased me into doing that.
DeleteSuch sweet images! Maybe the sun was in your eyes or you weren't quite finished filling up your basket :-) Wicker baskets and Easter finery; such precious memories. You know, I think it's the only time of year I wore a dress back then - ha!
ReplyDeleteSomehow Easter seemed more special in those days because of all the little extras people did in getting ready for it. But then again, so much of that stuff had/has no real connection to the real meaning of Easter.
DeleteThose are adorable pictures! I bet they brought back a lot of memories for you.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a very Happy Easter!
It was a very nice Easter! Yes, I've enjoyed looking through old pictures, getting ready for the A to Z.
DeleteNice pictures! I like the pink dress with the flowers :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! My mother made that dress and many others that I wore over the years. That one and several others she made for me in the 3rd or 4th grade were made out of "double knit". It was the late 60's after all.
DeleteThese photos are too precious!!
