Hello! I hope no matter how you chose to spend the holiday, that it was all you desired it to be. We used the long weekend for a lot of rest and relaxation around the house. Every night we watched a movie. Ordered pizza on Friday. Kept the rest of the meals simple and easy, too. Yesterday afternoon the guys went into the deer camp to bring home the Bronco hoopie*. Right before dusk we all loaded up in it and took a ride down the hill into the Baygall, just to look around. At one point a tree was down across the road, but we easily navigated around it. Bubba chauffered me and Pete. Bug rode shotgun*. On the way back up, Bubba set her on his lap and let her steer. So she had a blast.
Pete and I pretended we were courtin'. He actually did remember the first words he ever said to me......which were "Give me a little kiss right here." And he leaned over and tapped his cheek-bone with his forefinger. It was original! And I was busy in conversation at the time, so I reached up and gave him a light peck on the cheek.......in part to clear him out of the way so I could go on with my conversation!There is a charming little family that lives in Arizona.
