I Saw It On Facebook

Can I get an amen?!!!  They are rewriting history because it bothers them.   They are redefining the constitution and the Bill of Rights, because they bother them.  They are trying to outlaw God bless you, because it bothers them.  Get rid of Merry Christmas.... because it bothers them.

Don't speak in your native dialect, because it bothers them.  Let your children run amuck because discipline bothers them.  Cow down and kiss ass because standing up for yourself bothers them.  Treat your children and your animals better than your spouse because it bothers them if you honor your spouse above all others.

Going to school? You'd better be able to print it instead of type it.  To research it online instead of go to the library.  To take a picture of the chalk board instead of take notes.

In the church, best not speak of sin.  And whatever you do, don't mention the blood, as that is offensive.  Don't you dare speak of God's judgement, but only His Love.  Preach the tithe and watch people walk away.

Way back in the old testament God told us that in the last days truth would become known as lies and lies as truth.  One sign down.  How many more to go before He enters the Eastern sky and judges the earth and all who dwell therein?

How many lies are you swallowing today?  Or are you stubbornly standing for the truth in all things?

  1. I see the mixture of truth and lies. I don't find it quite so dire, but it's good to stay vigilant. Have a good weekend and a big swig of coffee on a Saturday

    1. Not the post I had planned to make, but the post that came out once I saw the above graphic on Facebook. I'm just tired of people being purposefully stupid. Of the few wanting the many to cow down to their wants. Of people recoloring the history of this great nation. Of school districts thinking everyone has access to technology. Of seeing people pour into churches that only teach and preach half the Bible. Of watching us hand our freedoms away. Of school shootings that never happened before respect and God was taken out of the classrooms. Back before zero tolerance. Of watching society go backwards in the name of "progress" and "acceptance". It turns my stomach.

  2. You'll get an Amen from me! Change the laws because morality bothers some people.
I am blessed to belong to a church that is not afraid to mention the blood and the sacrifice and the truth of the Word. Or mention tithing for that matter.

    1. I'll give you a big amen on being blessed to belong to a church that still preaches the whole word of God!! I'd not take part in any other kind.

  3. I'm standing strong right there with you Barbara. I cannot stand that the laws are being changed to redefine marriage. That we are forced to accept what we do not believe in. That the Constitution is being interpreted to fit their flawed morality! You preach it lady and I will keep saying Amen!!

    1. While l can honestly say that nothing has changed in my own personal life, it upsets me no end that many are having what should be basic freedoms denied them. I never dreamed I'd see this come to pass in America in my lifetime!!! I look at my granddaughter and I shudder to think what life here will be like for her. I look at what we as a nation are becoming and I think, if this generation was the one living in the 1940's, half the world would be speaking German and the other half, Japanese. I admit, I spend half my time ignoring it all and simply living my life, my way, pretending it's the way things should be. Then i see something or hear something that ignites the deeply held beliefs inside me and I rant and rave and everything inside of me wants to take my country back and make it a nation that stands for right and for God. A place that values state rights and personal accountability. To make it the country my father, grandfather and most of my uncles fought for. A land of hope instead of a joke. A very bad joke.

  4. New follower here - great post and I totally agree with you. I don't like the "anything goes" and "there is no right or wrong" attitude that we have in country. Seems like the only things people (the media) are down on and think and talk badly about are Christians and Christina values. Thanks for the post.

  5. This is all so true. Many in our society would prefer to be nice over honest. Forget God's law when the new ways of society seem much more relevant and applicable to the modern age. Our world is aiming for hell and that's where many will be going if they don't open their eyes to understanding and open their hearts to God to receive His salvation.

    1. Nice to hear from you! I've been more or less on a leave of absence from the web, as so much of what I was reading and seeing online just upset me.

    1. I had to take a respite, Paula. Away from the onslaught of negativity and people being happy about the twisting of Truth, celebrating ungodliness. I was actually torn up inside: in mourning for my nation, offended by the lack of morality and common sense. I am feeling better now. I have been revived! And am confident in the One still in control. I'll soon be back: unafraid, uncompromised.

  8. This is what it is, Barbara. I've discovered that nobody wants to hear the truth.
