#SoCS: Hush!
Hush! I said Hush, Sam! Hush!.......Good boy!
Hush! Use your quiet voice or you will wake the baby!
Hush! Okay, just hush! I don't want to hear another word about it! You know what? Just go to your room.

So, this is a little game. Can you figure put to whom I am speaking in each of the three separate instances?

The baby? babies brother perhaps? The husband?
ReplyDeleteYou guessed correctly for the second instance. I would not speak to hubby in any of those three ways. 😊 Thanks for playing.
DeleteHey! :) Took up your offer to visit. For your game of who you are speaking to... the dog, and older children?
ReplyDeleteGreat job guessing! Yes, the first is hubby's dog who thinks he has to bark continually.
DeleteAhhh I see. Fun trying to guess. We had a dog named Sam a long time ago. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun!
DeleteThe dog, older sibling, a teenager.
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it, Ann! 😊
DeleteLooks like the guesses are in. Makes sense. Fun take on the prompt.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dan! Glad you stopped by.
DeleteI'm going with the dog, husband, and one of the kids. I've been told to talk more quietly so as not to wake a baby and my wife has never told me to go to my room--leave the room maybe, but not go to it.

Tossing It Out
Two out of three. The one with the "use your quiet voice" was a young child. Go to your room was a smart alecky preteen/teen.
DeleteDogs, kids, husbands...pretty much all the same, when you step back and look at the big picture!
ReplyDeleteYes, that is true, but I usually talk to them a little differently.
DeleteThe only one I knew for certain was that #1 was a dog.
ReplyDeleteNow I have the Deep Purple/Joe South tune "Hush" running through my mind. Just heard Deep Purple's version yesterday, too. Hope that doesn't mean that one of that group'd members is going to die anytime soon...
That's a tune I have not heard in forever!
DeleteI see others have beat me to it. I got the dog for the first one, but the other two I would not have gotten.
ReplyDeleteI think "good boy" makes the dog one fairly obvious.
DeleteI don't have any idea about this...
ReplyDeleteOh, well, thanks for stopping by and playing any way. It was: a dog, a young child, and an argumentative teen.
DeleteSeem to have missed the boat on this one, but it was a fun "quiz."
ReplyDeleteNot sure why, but the prompt this week didn't bring much to my mind. Been doing a lot of work with Sam to get him to Hush on command and stay hushed. So, that's what started it.
