Hello, one and all! That precious little poem reminds us we don't have to be big and special to make a lovely difference!
I want to ask that everyone will go and make a difference by signing the card the VFW is going to deliver to to the wounded troops recovering at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. They are short their goal of signatures by 4,884 and the deadline is December the 12th! It's quick, easy and painless and will mean so much. Then, please share the link with others via email or your own journal. (The actual page to sign on is a secured sight and it seems AOL won't let me post that. But if you click on the link above and look a little over half way down the page you can see a link to go and sign the card.)
Poem and beautiful graphics from Dover Publications.
love the story of the holly sprig.

This link works now:) I scrolled down and it worked. Thanks for posting it. Hope your December is going blessedly -- I've been so busy (including training the past few days so I need to catch up in J-land! :) -- Robin
ReplyDeleteI will be off to sign the card as soon as I'm done meandering through your journal! I just sent off a care package to the troops. There's a wonderful site called Anysoldier.com and it's a great place to find addresses for those oversea's needing a moral boost.
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Rebecca
On my way to sign!
