Dad took me to the pond where he shot some frogs... I had to carry the bag of the frogs, some were still moving... I did try some of the frog legs Grandma cooked... and that is the extent of my hunting skills... :)Linda :)https://www.blogger.com/profile/05158420612788989484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2941371995600376751.post-39262012876177682312014-04-09T18:00:34.303-05:002014-04-09T18:00:34.303-05:00Don't blame you Helen. I've shot three animals in my life: that doe, an armadillo that was tearing up our yard and a water mocassin that was under the horse shed. Killed them all with one shot. Told Pete, "Let that be a lesson to you". I don't have the desire to kill animals anymore only look at them. I loved camping. I suppose if I grew up with it then I might feel different.
Suzanne @ Suzannes Tribe
xSuzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15210964582774377295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2941371995600376751.post-67018810628937521472014-04-09T02:46:50.244-05:002014-04-09T02:46:50.244-05:00My deceased husband hunted on his grandma's pl...My deceased husband hunted on his grandma's place west of san Antonio. After the girls were big enough to stay with grandma I would go out with him. Once he shot his limit the first two days of the season so It was agreed I would hunt now and he would sit in the blind with me. The first day a deer with a bigger rack then his stepped out of the brush and I couldn't pull the trigger. (Buck fever).Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04007728342316668058noreply@blogger.com
