People get knocked down and they just step over and around and on them like they aren't even there. This is the first year I've heard it called that! Yes, it gave me second thoughts too. It's supposed to be a happy fun day, so I'm glad they explained it quickly!

I think I've only gone twice. I can't believe this year some stores opened at 5:00 AM! 7 was bad enough. It was so cold here yesterday, and I just cannot tolerate the cold anymore. It makes my aches ACHE!!!! So of course I didn't go! I just did laundry, made a few Oasis/AgelessXtra calls and lazed the rest of the day away, until Darrell got home from work!

Now we'll talk about getting the tree down etc. No before Thanksgiving decorating for me!! You meal sounded great to me too, I love potatoe soup. Haven't had venison in a long, long time. Guess when we move to NM we'll have Elk meat. Thanks for visiting me and Turkey-in-hole would be so great out in the woods. You can do a pork roast that way too. Black Friday - I too couldn't believe that folks would fight and stanpead like a bunch of dumb animals. Nope, would much rather stay in my little cave and shop-on-line then go out there with the crazies. Nice post by the way.

Marlene-PurelyPoetry
http://journals.aol.com/mkolasa101/PurelyPoetryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2941371995600376751.post-83390010245805019162005-11-26T17:22:00.000-06:002005-11-26T17:22:00.000-06:00What a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving! Is the message of Christianity being celebrated? Christmas represents hope and joy for every one of God's children. It seems to be a commercial for buying now. markAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2941371995600376751.post-10844849926899851652005-11-27T13:28:00.000-06:002005-11-27T13:28:00.000-06:00Hi Hon, I have no doubt you're right about why thi...Hi Hon, I have no doubt you're right about why this AD thing came up.
